Your Fear Is in Your Mind
Your Fear Is in Your Mind
When you are trying to deal with your fear, the most important thing to know is that everyone feels it. No matter how unimportant the fear may seem, you are not the only one who has it. This is to let you know that you are not the only one who is scared of bugs. Additionally, a very large portion of people are not at all scared of bugs. In fact, they think they are pretty. They hold them, touch them, and play with them.
It is also true for any kind of fear. Are you scared of snakes? Or going bungee jumping? What is so scary about these things? Do not you notice how many nature experts let snakes crawl on their shoulders without getting scared? Also, do not you see a lot of people who look weak just jumping off cliffs?
Fear affects everyone and changes the way many people live, but it is still unique to each person. It is a way of thinking. It is how you feel. You had no fear when you were born. Look at babies. If they were allowed to, they would happily and jokingly get close to a snake. At that point, there is no fear. Then where does it fit in? It comes on later in life. Because we have trained ourselves to think that cockroaches are dirty and scary, we should be afraid of them. Because we think driving is hard and because of that, people die, we become afraid to drive. Every fear comes from the way we train our minds to think.
We would have all been scared of the same things if that was not the case. That does not happen, does it? Different people have different reactions to dead bodies. Some are scared of them, while others would happily live with them. Or, there are people who are scared of fire and people who will do anything to put out the fire and save people.
We live with fear in our minds. We can train our minds to get over that fear, too. We can get past our fears and even get rid of them from our minds, which will help us live a better, more satisfactory life. But we all start something. Action and making changes to how we live our lives are the first steps.
